  1. Great insight Rachel!  I can attest to many of your points as I tried to build a startup while running a full time business and it just didn’t work because there were holes in our plan.  Makes me motivated to revisit our project though. :)

  3. Very helpful, thanks for the writeup Rachel.

    One thing that really resonates with me is “Avoid Spending Too Much Time Creating a Productivity System.” I think sometimes I spend so much time trying to organize and plan I end up with little time to actually work.

    I’ve found using a simple Pomodoro system (25 minutes of work. 5 minute break.) can be very helpful. It’s getting started that’s often the hardest thing to do. “Then roll up your sleeves and work.” sums it up well. Thanks again!
