For me, redesigning a website is all about planning. I need to lay everything out, put it all in steps and then execute. If there’s something that doesn’t fit, back to the drawing board.
redesigning you website is sometimes needed, but don’t forget to catch the old web url’s with a 301 redirect! And get a custom 404 error page with webanalytics installed on it… you’ll learn alot when checking your webstatistics of that errorpage …
Very interesting and helpful article on the process of redesigning. We find it the hardest thing to redesign our own website. The design is never good enough and we have the highest expectations from ourselves. We did around four-five designs in order to decide on the best take.
