  1. We quit our jobs last year to bootstrap an app (for lack of a better word) that we’re designing and building ourselves.

    Product? Would that be a better word? Or business? :)

  2. Essentially, I think this boils down to the difference between feedback and decision-making. It’s valuable to hear from lots of users - but not too blindly accept all feedback as final direction-changing. That’s where “too many cooks spoil the broth” comes into play.

    It’s your job as the designer to filter down the many voices and determine what they all mean. In this case, you’re trusting your wife to be the final “voice” instead of hearing a variety of voices.
